Through allegorical representations and subtle or very explicit symbolism, these artworks represent my emotional state while traveling through the Limbo, realizing the qualities of Paradise as one extreme, and Hell as the other of this world they signify. Portraits in this section represent mythological and literary archetypes (Dante, Virgil, Icarus, Orpheus, Virgin Mary ...). Each of these archetypes bears its well-known, particular story that metaphorically talks about the current state of the inner being, the emotional experience, and the spiritual state through which, as a creator, I go through during the creative process itself. In addition to the symbolic depiction of hidden feelings, these portraits also tell the story of the perception of the world itself. The works are done in mixed media.
